Background

‘Strengthen HR’ is an initiative designed to deliver our people strategy and improve our HR value proposition – via three phases Build, Accelerate and Excel. As it moves into the Accelerate Phase, we’re looking to enhance our HR Operating Model, Learning Model and External Resource Model (with technology platforms and Service Delivery hubs globally) in order to set up for the final execution of the HR Strategy. As the Sweden Project Manager for the Deployment of these changes, you, along with a supporting co-ordinator, will be instrumental in taking Accelerate through to successful conclusion. The position is offered on an initial six-month contract with the prospect of further six-month renewals to the end of 2017.

Job Description

Lead by the Deployment Workstream Lead, we’ll look to you to create and execute the Deployment work plan for Sweden that takes into account all the other Workstream Leads, Lead PM, Programme Director and stakeholder’s needs. This will entail deployment of all Accelerate changes for Sweden, with close interaction and alignment with the Regional HR Service Centre, along with the release planning for all elements of the implementation, managing programme transitions to ‘business-as-usual’ services. From a people perspective, you’ll be expected to work as part of a fast moving and delivery-focused project team, assign individual responsibilities and foster a culture of collaboration of knowledge-sharing. In addition to managing the sub-project budget, you’ll review quality and assurance procedures and identify/resolve compliance and risk issues.

You will also be required to track plans across the sub-workstreams that make up the Deployment plan, as well as working with the respective Project Co-ordinators to log and escalate any risks, issues or tasks identified for each of the workstreams. You will be responsible for ensuring the interdependencies of the sub-workstreams and therefore taking an action role in the weekly workstream and Status meetings.
