HR Services based in Sweden is a regional center that provides qualified services within HR to Sandvik in Sweden, Norway and Denmark with a local center in Finland. This includes professional support and advice to managers and employees in the area of HR, as well as payroll, recruitment services, administration of personal and organizational data. When it comes to HR Services Specialist - Employee Relations, as a part of the HR Service Center, we have our base in the center but are placed at a number of locations where Sandvik is represented. We are now looking for one position, located in Gimo.

Key performance areas
We are looking for a qualified and proactive individual who has a positive attitude towards challenges in the job and enjoys supporting both Line Mangers, HR Business Partners and colleagues by providing excellent service. As Employee Relation (ER) specialist within HRS Sweden, you will operate in the role where your in depth knowledge within general HR and your professional way of coaching Line Managers will be your biggest asset.

Your will for example:
- Coach and advise Line Managers through the management of employee relation cases within the area of Rehabilitation, Disciplinary issues and Grievance
- Participate in coordinating information and actions on a local as well as Sweden level to make sure that applicable law, agreements and directives are followed within your area of responsibility
- Provide expert advice to Line Managers and employees on the application of law, agreements, directives and procedures in employee cases
- Support interactions with local union representatives in relation to specific employee cases
- Coach Line Managers in order to develop their capability and confidence in managing people and employment issues
- Make sure that required documentation is performed to meet local requirements
- Work with your colleagues developing one Sandvik Sweden standard for operating within the areas of your responsibilities

You will report to Team manager ER Services within the HR Services.

Your profile
We expect you to have a university degree in HR or equivalent experience as well as having a minimum of 3 years of working within the areas of this position. To succeed in the role it requires that you have a proven track record of strong and professional communication and customer interaction skills. Your strong interpersonal skills together with a high personal drive for coaching managers, delivering result and deep knowledge about laws and agreements will make you successful within this position. Fluency in English and Swedish, in both written and spoken, is essential. Additional language skills are a plus. You have good computer skills and are proficient in Microsoft Office.
