HR Services based in Sweden is a regional center that provides qualified HR services to Sandvik in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, with a local center in Finland. This includes professional support and advice to managers and employees in the area of HR, as well as payroll, recruitment services and administration of personal and organizational data.
Recruitment is part of the HR Service and aims to deliver world-class recruitment to all Sandvik companies in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The function is very important for ensuring that Sandvik selects, attracts and recruits candidates that match Sandvik requirements and future business needs.
Key performance areas
As a recruiter you work in a project management role where you are responsible for, and manage, the entire recruitment process, from job specification to contract, in close cooperation with the recruiting managers and HR Business Partners. You also ensure that laws, policies and directives are followed and actively work to promote diversity and inclusion and to counter discrimination in the recruitment process. You will be part of a recruitment team where you have a personal responsibility for your work, which among other things includes to:
- Conduct planning meetings with recruiting managers
- Maintain the requirements profiles
- Make the selection and conduct interviews, as well as making assessments and administering proficiency tests
- Develop and streamline working practices and processes in recruitment
To help you, there are copywriters who write recruitment ads and book newspaper and online advertisements, recruitment assistants who, for example, assist with booking meetings and interviews, and administrators who prepare employment contracts.
In this role you will recruit for all Sandvik companies in the Northern region, which requires business trips about 50 days per year.
Your profile
We expect you to have a relevant degree and at least five years´ work experience in the area, including a number of years in which you worked as a recruiter. You also have experience and certification in analytical tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office. OPQ certification and experience in multi-national recruitment and the PeopleSoft personnel system are advantageous. Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken, is essential. Additional language skills are a plus.
As a person you are self-motivated and service oriented, take the initiative, and have strong integrity and the ability to build long-term customer relationships. The work includes running several simultaneous recruitments at a fast pace. Therefore it is very important that you enjoy working to deadlines and have the ability to prioritize your tasks.
