Join the planet’s most important fight
Normative is now looking for an HR Specialist
Normative is accelerating the transition to a net zero world. We provide science-based carbon accounting software and tailored advice from net zero experts, enabling companies to reduce their carbon footprints.
The tools needed to reduce human impact on the climate won’t build themselves - or support themselves, or communicate themselves, or sell themselves. Normative wouldn’t exist without its employees. Our People team not only finds the right person for the role, but makes sure they thrive, develop, and stay engaged. Because tackling a problem as extreme as global climate change requires an equally extreme effort, from extremely committed people.
What you will do at Normative to aid the transition towards net zero emissions
Our HR specialist will play a core role in ensuring that our HR operations run smoothly. You will make sure we build scalable processes, policies and solutions that work for a global company (right now consisting of Denmark, Sweden and the UK). You will report to our Head of People and work closely with the full People team, but of course also close to managers and employees within Normative.
- Work as first point of contact through our HR-support desk on employee related questions such as vacation, benefits, and policies
- Work with ad hoc labour-law topics and stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
- Administer our global pensions and insurances with global partners
- Suggest, develop, simplify and implement global and locally adapted HR-policies
- Be responsible for implementing and meeting work environment standards
- Be responsible for contact with our immigration and relocation partners on work permits and potential moves
- Be updated and create reports on employment related changes with our HR-system.
- Ensure that our Employee Handbook is updated and easily accessible.
- Support Talent Acquisition in hiring-related questions
Experience we’re seeking:
- 2 years+ proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist in a global company
- BSc/MSc in Human Resources or relevant field
- Solid knowledge of Swedish, and preferably other countries, labour law - a great plus if you have previously been part of union negotiations
- A demonstrated experience of finding best practise and implementing new policies or structures in a global company
- Hands-on experience from working with areas like insurances, work permits, pension and preferably also with global partners
- Solid understanding and curiosity to find information on labor legislation and implementing both local and global standards
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
We also believe you are:
- You are a true problem solver and initiative taker that sees gaps and find solutions, even if it requires time and effort to do so
- You are detail oriented and make sure to make things right
- You are collaborative and want us to win as a team
- You are service oriented and want to make sure our employees and managers get the best support possible
Any company would say its employees are smart, capable, and fun to work with - and our employees certainly are! But we’re also driven by an unshakable sense of purpose, an urgency to act, and the motivation to devote our talents and energy to fighting the planet’s most important fight.
Location
We operate on a hybrid remote model with offices in Sweden, Denmark & UK. We believe that you are based in the greater Stockholm region and can be in the Stockholm office a couple of days a week, with the possibility to work remotely when it is more suitable for you and your work schedule.
We adopt a continuous selection process, so make sure to apply as soon as possible. Normative handles sensitive financial data and we will therefore conduct a background check before signing any candidate.
