HR student for part-time role as HR Assistant

Our HR team in Lund is growing and we are now looking for a student who wants to take on a developing part-time job as HR Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for you who want to get firsthand experience from a professional HR department along with your university studies.



About the position

Our HR team in Lund consists of Vice President HR, HR Manager, HR Specialist, and one part-time HR Assistant. The team manages the entire employee life cycle at the company, i.e., recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, labor law, employer branding as well as employee data and analytics. It is a fast-paced, international environment where priorities shift from day to day.

This position offers an opportunity to be involved in the day-to-day operations of our HR department where your main task will be to assist the team in their daily work. You will gain insight into different procedures related to human resources and your work tasks will span over a greater scope based on the ongoing needs and priorities.



Key tasks as HR Assistant

- Recruitment support, assist in candidate selection, conduct phone interviews, reference checks, and invite candidates for interviews.
- Support in planning and preparation of student fairs, events as well as internal staff events or kick-offs.
- Assist in compiling and maintaining digital employee records and reports in our HRM system.
- Support in ongoing review and update of policies, training materials, employee templates and checklists as well as document translation from Swedish to English.
- Support the onboarding process, enter data in the HRM system, create onboarding packages and goodie bags for new employees.
- Ongoing administration and collaboration with the salary department as well as archiving of files.




Who you are

- You are a student with at least 1-2 years left of your studies within Human Resources or equivalent.
- You are a familiar user of the Office package, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- You enjoy working in an independent role with room for responsibility, initiative, and new ideas.
- You are meticulous in your way of working and can easily prioritize between different tasks.
- You have good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Swedish.
- You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience of an administrative or coordinating role is meticulous.
