About the job
As HR Technology Expert, you shape and drive our digital HR Technology roadmap and agenda with a combination of functional and technical expertise – having an extra focus on the Talent & Acquisition area. With insightful analytics you continuously explore how we can be more efficient and user-centric in our setup. You lead HR Technology projects, initiatives and pre-studies in accordance with the Sandvik strategy, and you ensure that our HR Technology, including our global Human Capital Management System (HCMS), Workday, supports the business in the most efficient way and that the relevant tools and documentation are available.
Being the HR Technology Expert in the Sandvik global Talent & Acquisition Forum, you continuously explore together with our process experts how technology can support and improve our business to attract, recruit and retain the best talents. You’re our speaking partner towards the business for HR Technology related issues and you also provide expertise in cross-functional areas. You report to, and act in close collaboration with, the Head of HR Technology.
This position gives you the flexibility to choose your own working location within a time zone close to Sweden. Occasional travel to our business units around the world is part of the job.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with broad knowledge of IT systems and data management, preferably in connection to HR, who’s been working both strategically and operationally in a global environment for several years. You’re good at managing projects, and you understand the value of cross-functional collaborations and keeping close contact with stakeholders. In addition to this, we value a general understanding of our business and you’re competent in the use of relevant advanced HCMS. We expect an interest in new digital solutions, especially within the Talent & Acquisition area, and it's advantageous with experience of working with ERP and management systems such as Workday and SAP. You also have the ability to translate statistics, trends and requirements into value adding actions. As we act in a global setting, you must be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.

You have investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to take complex statements and develop simplified outcomes. With excellent communication skills, you build networks and stable relations within all levels of the organization. You have a data-driven approach and with a strategic and comprehensive view, you respond timely on business requirements and act on both urgent, short-term and long-term objectives.
