The Sandvik Group is undertaking a global implementation, with the aim of transforming and developing the way we work with Human Resources (HR) at Sandvik.Parts of this global initiative involve developing and implementing global HR processes and supporting systems, in order to provide managers and employees with access to the best possible support in HR, in all parts of the world.The focus areas for the new way of working are Workforce Administration, Competence Development & Performance Management (CDPM), Resourcing and Compensation & Benefits.We are now looking for an HR/IT Process Specialist to strengthen the area of CDPM during next year.This is a temporary assignment for one year based in Sandviken.Key performance areas As an HR/IT Process Specialist within CDPM you will: - Map existing processes, as well as develop and implement new HR processes within the CDPM area - Facilitate process workshops - Analyze Sandvik's global HR system (PeopleSoft) in relation to CDPM processes and be the driving force for improvement - Document processes and develop functional specifications - Participate in process and system development projects - Educate new users on processes and systems - Support the Sandvik HR organization within the above mentioned process area and system functionality - Act as a link between Sandvik's HR organization and system support The position will involve travelling. Your profile You have a relevant university degree and experience from working within HR, as well as an interest in systems development and work experience within the area of CDPM. As a person, you are a self-starter and a good team player, who is capable of working independently.You are delivery focused in a high-tempo work environment.Other important competencies and skills are flexibility, adaptability, a sense of responsibility and the ability to deal with complex issues; and last, but not least, project management experience.You will be working in a global environment, and, therefore, good communication skills in English, both spoken and written, are a requirement.Recruiter Irene Sveen Sandvik is a global industrial group with advanced products and world-leading positions in selected areas tools for metal cutting, equipment and tools for the mining and construction industries, stainless materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials as well as process systems.In 2009 the Group had about 44,000 employees and representation in 130 countries, with annual sales of nearly SEK 72,000 M.
