The H&S Specialist will take part in activities in the administration and production of AGN HAGA to handle HS issues. In general, the H&S Specialist will take part in Site induction training, further training, first aid exercise, safety walk, method statements with risk assessments and assist the H&S manager.
H&S Specialist is responsible for the following:
· Make sure that the HS plan is compiled by the personnel and the subcontractor during the construction
· For subcontractors and hired labors following the HS rules on site
· Planning for Work Permit Planning
· Nominating fireguard if required in work permit
· Confirming the lifting guard competence.
· Coordinate and plan of the common work during the construction phase.
· Ensure that all of the vehicles/equipment that must be inspected by an accredited company by Swedish law are approved of before allowed to enter site
· Collect work method for personnel and subcontractors
· Involved in Risk assessment
· Control the workers competencies and certificates/license before they can be involved in work where special competencies are needed.
· Issue driver permits, before doing this the subcontractor needs to send a valid driver license and documentation to BAS-U. It's the subcontractor responsibility to make sure that their workers have valid driver permits.
· Coordinates the weekly coordinating meetings and invites the subcontractors to participate.
· Check that the work is being carried out according to the work permit and HS-Plan
· Ensure that hazardous areas have been segregated in a proper way
· Carry out work permit inspections
· Carry out safety walk
