The High Power Laboratory in Ludvika is a unique test facility for high voltage products. Its main purpose is to perform high quality testing both in the development of new products and in certification of the products for a global market. A large variety of non-routine electrical test procedures implies that health and safety is a critical area. Our ambition is to establish the HSE area in the lab as "best-in-class" and something that we are proud of and that can serve as a role model within Hitachi Energy.

Your responsibilities
You will be a natural member of Lab Management Team and will represent the lab in HSE related forums
In this role you will have the chance to develop & maintain the HSE part of Lab management system
Lead and have ownership of HSE related projects & initiatives and have close collaboration within the Hitachi Energy &
High Voltage HSE community, both in Sweden and within Europe.
Provide leadership and guidance in complying with all local HSE legal requirements and reporting on objectives and progress to milestones and HSE KPI´s.
Perform HSE audits / inspections and ensure appropriate corrective actions are developed and implemented on a timely basis
Evaluate site HSE risks and challenges and develop appropriate risk reduction strategies, including Risk Assessments
Lead and/or participate in incident investigations and ensure appropriate root causes are identified and corrective actions are developed / implemented
Your background
To be successful in this role, you hold a University degree together with several years of relevant work experience,
preferably from an international company
Have knowledge and experience within electrical safety
If you have leadership skills and are driven to create a good team spirit, you will thrive in this role
The person that we think would be a good match in this role is driven, structured and pedagogical
Strong English and Swedish language skills, written and spoken is a must
