Take lead on all HSE related activities
At NKT Health, Safety & Environment is a number one priority – regardless of where, what and when. In our customer projects the HSE agenda plays a significant role and as the HSE Project Manager you are the one coordinating project related activities within this scope.
Your role includes developing and ensuring the implementation of Project HSE plans according to NKT standards as well as rules, regulations, legal and customer requirements. You will provide the project with thorough HSE documentation, in scheduled time, ensuring successful projects deliveries and implementation of HSE control measures.
You will analyse and consider the demands of the contract and prioritize within your own scope. You will handle the whole spectrum; from coordinating and supporting risk assessments to the controlling and monitoring of contractors, reporting to customer – and being our customer interface regarding HSE topics. Regularly visits to the operation to monitor performance and give support is an important part of the role whether it’s on in the manufacturing, at installation site or our sub-contractors.
Besides the above your primary tasks will be:
Monitoring, reporting and record keeping of HSE risks, non-conformities, and HSE related KPIs and statistics of any kind required by the project
Plan & follow up all allocated HSE resources in the project and ensure process compliance
Be involved in planning the project ensuring works in a pro-active way to avoid HSE incidents and to ensure HSE compliance (i.e. perform risk assessments)
Establish and monitor HSE performance and report to the customer
Support in the HSE incident investigation



Communicative and driven HSE project manager
In your daily collaboration within the project team as well as with our customers your strong communicational and team player skills will be important. Your driven, energetic and positive mindset supports creating genuine engagement within the teams. You take on a supportive and coaching approach in order to bring your team with you in the delivery of a successful project ensuring high customer satisfaction.
As someone with competence in Health & Safety and Environment you are likely to have a couple of years of experience from a similar role. Your understanding of legal and contract requirements and interpretation thereof, is a terrific foundation for you to create solid documentation meeting existing requirements.
Additionally, your CV comprises:
University degree within Engineering, Business or Health & Safety
Project management experience, preferably in an international context
Fluent in Swedish and English – both spoken and written
