HSE-specialist

Kedali is the world’s largest manufacturer of casings for lithium batteries. Our headquarter is in Shenzhen and has subsidiaries in both China and Europe.
Kedali Sweden AB is now looking for a HSE-specialist to strengthen our team in Skellefteå!
Main tasks
Assist Kedali management to build a business safety system that meets the requirements of legislation and relevant standards such as ISO 14000.
Identifying potential dangers, training employees on safety matters, inspecting machinery, developing safety policies, maintaining inventory safe, and reporting to managers.
Manage health and safety activities in alignment with company objectives.
Develop and implement strategies for attaining a proactive and participative safety culture to include active engagement of employees and management.
Provide advice, counsel, and training on injury prevention and hazard reduction strategies.
Conduct risk assessments, ergonomic evaluations, program audits, safety inspections, radiation surveys, accident investigations, respond to emergencies, and recommend appropriate hazard control measures.
Report and handling safety and maintenance deviations.
Drive continuously improvement with lean tools to reduce cost and shorten tact time.
Ensure that competence and training requirements within the HSE area have been identified and that managers and safety representatives have access to adequate training.
Overall ensure that systems are in place for carrying out and documenting inspections as well as periodic inspections of machines, lifting devices and work equipment.
Ensure that systems are in place for assessing chemical risks and that lists, and safety data sheets are available.
Other duties and responsibilities assigned by manager.
Competence and experience
At least two years’ experience of a similar role.
Good Swedish and English in speech and writing.
Experience from the manufacturing and construction industry.
Experience in Swedish HSE regulations and legislations.
An eye for detail!
Education in occupational safety and health is a plus.
