Smart services for a sustainable world, are services that are delivered safely and efficiently, on time every time.In your role as Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Advisor you will report to HSEQ Manager, Europe. As HSEQ Advisor you will be responsible for supporting the Regional HSEQ Manager in activities related to health, safety, environment, and quality. You will work closely with operational HSEQ issues. You are considered as a support function for the business, where you are supportive, driving, and coordinating. You will be a support for the HSEQ Manager in administrative and coordinated tasks with focus on Swedish sites.
Your duties include:
• To support and drive the organization in developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing appropriate systems, policies, and procedures for compliance to HSEQ regulations, customer requirements, ISO standards as well as to corporate processes and to the management system.
• To monitor that HSEQ requirements are met and to support the organization in documentation, handling, follow-up, analysis, and compilation of non-conformances. Special focus on yearly risk assessments, yearly legal compliance control, environmental aspects evaluation, and site assessments.
• To promote awareness of HSEQ requirements throughout the organization.
• To support and drive the organization to work in a proactive and systematic way that continuously improves both HSEQ performance and HSEQ culture.
• To develop and coordinate HSEQ activities that promotes knowledge sharing and best practice within the organization.
• To support the organization in planning, implementation, and follow-up of activities in the yearly HSEQ wheel, including support in handling and prioritization of actions.
• To monitor changes in the OHSE legislation and inform the organization about changes.
• To participate and contribute to audits and in feasibility studies, as well as in weekly safety meetings and other HSEQ related forums.
• To administrate and develop the IA-system and give support and training to IA-users.
• To document routines and update instructions that develops the management system.
• To compile and analyse HSEQ data and assist in setting effective HSEQ objectives and targets.
• To provide training and guidance on HSEQ matters, including e.g., risk assessments, environmental aspects, and chemical handling.
• To support the organization in incident investigations, identification of corrective and preventive actions, and contact with authorities.
• Responsible for chemical management (Chemsoft) at Site Ludvika
• To cooperate with safety representatives and other employee representatives.
• Various administrative and practical tasks within the HSEQ area, including translations and preparations for safety weeks and safety days.
• Assist Site Managers and HSEQ Manager on any other HSEQ duties assigned
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience from similar role and work.
• You have very good knowledge and experience within HSEQ, preferably from the engineering or manufacturing industry.
• Role model who leads by example and with track record of working credibly with a range of stakeholders
• Good insights into ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 and how to adapt the business to these requirements.
• Knowledge of occupational health and environmental regulations.
• Experienced in conducting risk assessments.
• A very good command of English and Swedish, both written and oral is required
• IT literate with Microsoft packages
• Ability to compile information in an educational and orderly manner.
• You work in a structured and thorough manner and understand the importance of documenting and following up on your and others' work.
• You take initiative to improvements and implement these together with the responsible manager. It is easy for you to create and develop good relationships and to work independently.
