HSE&S Manager

Main responsibilities
As HSE&S manager you have a strategic role to support the department managers on Site Kvarntorp in creating a strong Safety culture and to ensure a systematic approach to all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental issues for the site. You will also be a member of Site Kvarntorp's management team and is thereby responsible for acting as a site representative.
The HSE&S Manager is a critical role within the Site Management team for Site Kvarntorp and is responsible to define and implement policies and strategies together with the Site management team to ensure full legal compliance and continuous improvement within all areas of Health, Safety, Environment and Security.
Other responsibilities:
Are involved in selection of PPE and other protective equipment.
Provide information and support to managers during safety reviews with new employees, contractors and temporary employees.
Monitors and maintains knowledge of legislation and regulations within the HSE
The company's contact person for occupational health care and authorities; Länsstyrelsen, Räddningstjänst, MSB, Arbetsmiljöverket, KEMI, ISP
Introduces and maintains internal routines and equipment
Maintain and practice the company's emergency plan
Responsible for planning and implementation of internal and external audits (ISO, ISP)
Conduct the company's improvement work.
Conduct the systematic work environment work and the systematic fire protection work.
Qualifications

Master/University Degree or equivalent
Extensive knowledge in management systems and standards within HSE
Experience from process industry
Knowledge of occupational health and working environment
Experience in LEAN is meritorious
Good skills in oral and writing in English and Swedish

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Site Manager, and based in Kvarntorp.
