Human Factors Integration (HFI) is the process of applying human factors within engineering programs. A "human-centered" design requires an integrated approach with other design and engineering activities. It cannot succeed in isolation and it requires the involvement and engagement of engineering/design, operations, and health and safety disciplines within a project team.
Your role
Your working tasks will include:
* Plan, perform and coordinate the HFI work in a program/project
* Ensure that a human-centered design process and methodology is applied, taking into account usability, usefulness, physical and cognitive ergonomics and user work environment
* Be point of contact with internal and external customers and sub-suppliers for HFI related issues
* Act as a team member to ensure that the human factors requirements are met and validated in the design work and that the necessary documentation is produced
Your profile
To thrive in this role, you are a self-motivated person with great communication skills. You are structured and have a confident mindset enabling you to adapt to circumstances. Your educational background is B.Sc. or M.Sc. with major field of Industrial Design Engineering, User Experience (UX), Interaction Design, Cognitive Science or similar. Experience in working with and knowledge of HFI, cognitive science and system engineering is a merit.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply. Work location is Gothenburg.
