We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Human Factors Specialist & Active Safety Analysis Engineer with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Conducting research to gather data on driver behaviour in critical situations.
To plan and carry out studies, as well as collect and analyse data.
Analyze data and contribute to the development of active safety features in new vehicles and research projects.
Assist the Safety Center in developing new requirements for active safety functions (including describing the driver's interaction).





Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
Expert in human factors
MSc in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Interaction Design, or equivalent experience in study design and data collection
B driver's licence
Strong analytical skills; enjoys tackling problems and coming up with solutions.
Ability to work independently and with a high level of self-motivation.
A methodical approach to problem-solving. This is an inexperienced position in which the work isn't fully mapped out and only a few procedures are available.
Focused on outcomes and timeliness.
Contributes positively to the development of team spirit and harmony; a team player with excellent communication and cooperation skills.

Active safety functions and testing experience
Volvo product development knowledge

Language Requirements: Mastery of English & Swedish language in both speech and writing is required.
