The Sweden Biomanufacturing Center (SBC) is a strategic investment in AstraZeneca biologic product portfolio. The new Drug Product manufacturing facility will have the capability to support the Astra Zeneca biologic commercial pipeline and biologic clinical trial and launch programmes. What you'll do
You will contribute to our company's success by providing HR leadership and coaching to our employees and leaders. The role includes strategic HR functional responsibilities such as Strategic Workforce Planning, Talent Management & Development, Organizational design, and further progressing our Inclusion & Diversity journey. You will be part of a Global HR community and will also be responsible for driving the Enterprise HR agenda. You will have the opportunity to collaborate and engage with fellow HR leaders and colleagues in global projects, and be expected to proactively share your perspective and represent the voice of your business as solutions are designed. This role includes line management of a team of three HR team members and is supporting approximately 200 employees and external resources. The HRD will report to the Site Senior Director, Sweden Biologics with a dotted line to the Global Biologics HR Lead. The individual in this role will also be part of the Global Biologics HR Leadership Team as well as the Site Leadership Team Sweden Biologics.
Primary Responsibilities
* Contributes to the development and activation of the Sweden Biologics site business strategy and links the Business HR strategy and the Functional HR strategy.
* Serves as an internal consultant and mentor to the leadership team, managers and colleagues on strategic human resources and people management areas.
* Builds effective and strong business relationships with internal clients.
* Initiates and Drives Organization and Leader development, and Change management
* Develop and activate talent management strategy to include succession planning and talent development to deliver business priorities
* Drives organizational performance improvement processes and promotes positive change in the people management arena.
* Design and activate solutions to increase workforce engagement and effectiveness in partnership with business
* Leads the strategic workforce planning process with a particular emphasis on identifying talent with critical commercial capabilities as well as building the short and long term capabilities required to deliver the business strategy
* Ensure the day to day HR support to business is fulfilled including, but not limited to, talent management, reward, performance management, recruitment, training and development.
Candidate Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* HR professional with experience of operating in a Matrix-organization and global environment.
* Proven experience in all areas of HR with a strong focus on talent management, organisational effectiveness and change management, Leadership development, Learning and Organizational capabilities development, and strong knowledge of HR related local regulations and Swedish labor law.
* Good understanding of LEAN or Continuous Improvement strategies, philosophies, and concepts, and exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), i.e. ISO, and GXP.
* Proven experience leading a major organizational change.
* Strategic problem solver; able to translate complex business plans into measurable people plans.
* Strong Business Acumen and analytical skills.
* Outstanding influencing skills across the organization and at all levels
* Self-directed, able to deliver results without direct command and control.
* Degree and postgraduate HR certification or equivalent.
* Proficiency in English and Swedish language written and spoken.
