Human Resources Manager, Eskilstuna plant

As HR Manager you are a member of the Eskilstuna VCE Operation management team and report directly VP Human Resources Operations Europe. You are part of the VCE Sweden and Ops Eu HR network together with HR colleagues from other plants and regional functions. You will lead the Eskilstuna plant HR department which consists of HR Business Partners, Internal Communication and administration.

We are looking for an experienced HR professional who is eager to support and develop the right leadership, competence and strategic HR objectives for the future at the Eskilstuna plant. As HR Manager you are responsible for driving, developing and coordinating all kind of HR issues at the site.

For the right candidate we offer a chance work closely with the plant management team to drive efficiency initiatives to become an even more modern and competitive plant.

Main Responsibilities

-Being accountable for our overall factory objectives, with a special focus
on HR, high performing culture, employee relations, leadership & competence development.
-Being responsible to drive, implement and secure the Volvo Group and VCE HR strategic objectives within Eskilstuna
-Taking an active role and responsibility in Eskilstuna management team as well as the VCE Ops Eu HR Network(s)
-Coaching & mentoring management in HR issues
-Continuously drive and support a healthy and safe culture
-Responsible for Eskilstuna Plant employee relations and negotiations
-Support to improve the important engagement and participation from all employees in order to define and implement needed improvements
-Communicate HR strategic information to the organisation and secure honest dialogue.
-Driving change management within the HR organisation and supporting the rest of the organization using our Volvo Production System (VPS).

Competencies/Skills

-Appropriate academic education and qualifications in Human Resources Management required
-At least 7 years? experience in a senior position, deep knowledge and experience of HR leadership, documented management experience as well as experience from manufacturing environment
-Knowledge and experience of Swedish labor law and union relations is required
-Excellent facilitation, coaching and negotiations skills
-A clear understanding of business issues within a manufacturing environment
-You are flexible, careful and possess the ability to make things happen. You have confidence in own ability and be prepared to question and challenge managers and others
-Excellent level of written and spoken Swedish and English is required.
