Diagnostic team
We are a development team. The area of responsibility is HV charging diagnostics and OBD.
We write and review requirements, develop SW functionality, test, and validate diagnostic functionality in both HIL- and vehicle environment.
We deliver best possible customer and workshop experience when fault occurs during charging, no unscheduled repairs, no expensive ownership, high availability, and traceability of faults.
We strive for develop our own diagnostic functionality and SW.
Work includes BEV and PHEV specific platforms for all charging standards.
What you will do
In the role as Diagnostic test & analysis engineer you will be a part of a team consisting of sub function responsible, SW developers and test & analysis engineers.
In our task we create requirements for compliance with legal requirements as well as our own requirements for function and diagnostics resulting in the best charging experience.
Daily tasks are typical:
ECU measurements, data visualization and analysis.
ECU sw calibration of diagnostic parameters.
Test and verify diagnostics in HIL and vehicle environment.
Data collection and analysis of fault reports and vehicle fleet data.
Support SFR´s in development of requirements on diagnostics.
Provide certification documentation.
To summarize test result and create defect reports.
Participate in defining test plans, test methods and execution of them.
In the job you will utilize test vehicles, HIL or similar test bench setup depending on what is most suited for development, test, and verification. Participate in vehicle expeditions is also part of the job.
You and your skills?
We believe that you have at least a B. Sc. degree within engineering, specifically power electronics, embedded system, or equivalent competence. On top on this, you have some years’ experience in the automotive industry and have worked with Testing activities within the same.
We are a global company so a must for us is that you are fluent in English. Also, you must have a driving license (B), preferably you love cars as much as we do!
This is what you need to have. But we also have a few things that is nice to have! If you also have any of the following skills, we consider it to be meritorious:
Experience of Testing diagnostic events and services
Knowledge of AUTOSAR diagnostic modules and bootloaders
Knowledge about ISO 14229
Knowledge about OBDII and other emission related legal regulation & requirements
Knowledge and understanding of simple HW-circuits
Experienced with INCA, XCP or other automotive calibration and measuring system.
In this role, you need to be structured, data driven and have good documentation skill. You are also used to corporate and communicate with people since this is a large part of the role.
