Job description The primary task of the HVAC System Engineer is to assure a good interior climate in passenger compartment as well as driver's cab, and fulfilling all customer requirements.This consists of specifying the system requirements and document the system solution by; - Supporting the Supply Management with all technical documentation necessary for a successful sourcing of the system - Ensuring that technical risks of the system are identified and strategies for mitigation of the risks are developed - Leading a successful integration (electrical, functional and physical) of the system and type test and evaluation with customer. Key accountabilities of the role comprise: - Delivering the particular deliverables of the project including scope, quality, and timeliness, with the resources committed in the tender - Making the technical evaluation of tenders from system suppliers and supplier selection together with Procurement.Ensuring proper integration (electrical, functional and physical) into the train through close cooperation with supplier and the design team.Qualifications Education: The successful candidate shall hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Experiences: A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably from automotive or construction industry, experienced in heating, ventilation and air conditioning and/or system engineering.Behavioural requirements: Strong communications skills, structured and independent working skills.Fluent in English.
