As a HVDC Commissioning Team Leader you will be part of the Technology & Solutions Development (Business R&D) organization in HVDC, Hitachi Energy, Sweden. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is an end enabler for renewable energy integration, supporting future energy transition for a sustainable future. You will be travelling a lot to site, both on long term and short term. We are flexible where you will be working when you are in Sweden.
Your responsibilities
Participate in multinational projects with dynamic timelines, actively engage in the mobilization of large teams across all our global projects and ensure the continuous update of plans in alignment with customer expectations.
Oversee and monitor the commissioning resource plan for HVDC Projects.
Verify and support commissioning preparation before site activities of the HVDC projects.
Perform risk analysis of commissioning execution and mitigations plan.
Monitor the commissioning execution of all projects and support the mobilization of the commissioning team around the globe.
Align with internal and external stakeholders commissioning expectations and execution plan.
Sporadic international travel to sites and customer meetings
Your background
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
10+ years’ experience in commissioning management or project management of HV stations.
Proactive and have good communication skills.
