HVDC SCM Manager Valve and Electronics

In this exciting role you will lead a team of Category Managers and Category Specialist to execute purchasing strategies that support the business by optimizing costs, quality and lead time for our HVDC factories. You will be part of the global HVDC SCM management team reporting directly to the Global Head of SCM.
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for a team of +25, including two sub-managers of each Category team for Valve and Electronics. The team is responsible to execute both tactical as well as strategic deliveries for our HVDC factories worldwide.
The role has the supplier related yearly spend of approximately 350 MUSD.
Support the creation of category strategies to ensure optimal result for HVDC.
Develop a successful extensive network internally as well as externally.
Act as a key role that interacting with HVDC stakeholders in tender and project execution, engineering, R&D, general management levels at HVDC and Business Unit/Division SCM organization.
You also like to set challenging goals and see them be realized.

Your background
Several years of experience in SCM with proven track record in production and factory environment.
A background in advanced category management and Supply Chain.
Proven leadership experience and like to work with and develop people.
Genuine interested in technical components and systems and you like to interact with people.
Superior negotiation skills in a multicultural and challenging global business environment.
You hold a university degree in Business or Engineering.
