We are now looking for a Program Manager to join our High Volume Management organization.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The High Volume Management (HVM) organization is a new virtual organization within Axis, with representatives from various parts of the company such as Research & Development for Electronics, Research & Development for Mechanics, Quality, Design for Manufacturing, Sourcing and Production Test.

The HVM Program Manager will focus on and lead the high volume phase of the product lifecycle from a production- and supply chain perspective, with the objective to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of our supply chain by utilizing our combined resources in the most efficient way.

The role HVM Program Manager is new, which means that the successful applicant will have a possibility of influencing the role.

In the role you will:

* Be the funnel for internal product and production change requests in the high volume phase.
* Analyze business cases and prioritize between initiatives to leverage the company’s resources efficiently.
* Analyze products, production processes, yields and costs to identify potential HVM projects.
* Lead HVM projects. Examples of potential HVM projects are projects aimed at reducing test and verification lead times in production, projects aimed at redesigning products to lower cost of goods sold as well as projects aimed at improving production methodology to increase capacity and quality yields.
* Balance your time between analyzing, initiating and hands-on leading HVM projects.

Axis is an international company with manufacturing in several countries across the globe, hence the role includes approximately 40-50 days of international travel per year.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you have a technical university degree or have acquired the corresponding competence. You have at least 3-5 years of experience from production and product development of mechanical and electronic products. Previous experience within project management is considered a merit. 

In order to succeed in the role as HVM Program Manager you also need to:

* Have a wide understanding of production management, production engineering and product development.
* Have commercial skills and a commercial interest in generating and analyzing business cases.
* Be able to communicate freely in English (orally and in writing)
