HW Design for Embedded Systems

We help satisfying the increasing need for fast and accurate information and situation awareness and decision support by equipping defense-, government- and security agencies with advanced radar sensors and tailor made information networks. Over the years more than 3000 sensors have been delivered worldwide and today our products are operational in more than 30 countries. The Product Development has approximately 650 employees. The section DD/L is responsible for the C3, Training Systems and Computer platforms to internal and external customer. Your role As a HW designer in our team you will work with system design for embedded systems. Internally you will work close together with people from application SW-design, System and Supply. Externally you will have numerous technical communication with suppliers. You will also handle validation of hardware (Commercial of the self, COTS) and testing of new computer platforms in lab. There will be opportunities to travel in business. The work may also include improvement of HW development methods and implementation of new tools/environments. You will also participate in pre-studies and feasibility studies. Your qualifications Technical competence: .[M.Sc. or similar .[Experience of Linux, UNIX .[Experience of configuration of hardware .[Knowledge in conforming firmware and drivers .[Knowledge in VME64 and cPCI design .[Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols .[Good technical writing, communicative skills Personal skills .[Strong interest in computers .[You should be able to work equally good individually as well as in a team .[Enjoy travelling .[Result oriented and flexible .[Good interpersonal and social networking skills
