Our Exciting Opportunity
PCB Design section is a hardware development unit located in Product Development Unit Compute and Digital Silicon (PDU CDS). As PCB Design unit, we take an end to end responsibility for PCB design and quality assurance from early phases in development projects and pre-development to maintenance and products installed in the field. We are taking lead on global PCB Technology and governance. We have close cooperation cross PDUs and support with PCB Technology studies and tasks to a broad extend.
We are now looking for a hardware developer with focus on PCB design and technology, to develop and improve our PCB’s to increase performance and to reduce cost. You will work in close collaboration with radio, digital-mechanical- thermal design and production to develop PCB in an efficient way. Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, Product Lifecycle Management support and Technical Documentation. We organize in collaboration with multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and experience sharing is part of the daily work.
What you will do
Planning and doing PCB design and routing based on input from Board-/schematic design and developing PCB layout (RF, Digital, DCDC, High Speed, Memories).
Do layout design in Cad Tool Cadence Allegro (the latest version).
Manage design constrain, floor plan analysis and layer/stack-up analysis in your daily work and expect to be a good team player.
Perform Layout related Simulations and analysis of the result and Contribute to DFM review and analysis.
Drive improvements in ways of working and process connected to PCB design.
You will bring
Good understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and experience in PCB Board Layout and Programming skills preferred.
Good problem-solving skills and very good Analytical skills and the ability to acquire new knowledge to apply it in the job.
A good understanding and knowledge of Telecommunications Networks and understanding of mass production and statistics in design are required.
Experience in signal and power integrity requirements in PCB layout.
Proven and documented experience of RF board layout (simulation tools for radio, signal and power integrity).
Proficient communication skills in English.
Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge with Business understanding.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
BSc level in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Experience in RF and/or High-speed digital design.
