Volvo CE Electrical and Electronic System, Technology Platform is developing Electrical and Electronic Systems for all Volvo CE machines. It is a fast growing technology area, today globally organized in 6 countries.

The E&E HW Platform & Architecture department in Eskilstuna develops and delivers palettes of common electrical and electronic components for globally use in VCE products and supports machine projects with technical competence within these areas and other common areas like EMC.

Job summary:

We are looking for a person to be responsible for common electrical/electronic components (such as ECUs, sensors and other complex electrical components) used in VCE machines throughout their life cycle. You will be engaged in the entire process from requirements gathering and analysis, specification and evaluation of different supplier technical solutions, product development and industrialization through after market. The work also includes various investigations such as future technology or existing technical problems.

Qualifications:

- Engineering degree, preferable in electrics or electronics

- Experience in Product Development within Electrical and Electronics

- Results-driven (result oriented)

- Enjoying working in a cross functional, international environment

- Good communication skills

- Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)

- Experience of automotive industry is considered an additional qualification
