Your role

As manager, you will be responsible for HW Sub Project Management, HW Systems Engineering and optics within C2S operations. Competence development and coaching (in both people as well as the team dimension) will be key tasks in order to be able to provide competences within your area of responsibility to all the projects within C2S.

You will be part of the Competence and Teams management group where your commitment will support the total view of the organization and business. You will work and cooperate with the other managers to reach the organization's goals and work with both strategic and operational tasks.

In order to succeed it will also be important to identify cross domain, cross product and cross section collaborations. As manager, you will have the health and environmental responsibility for your staff as well as the cost center budget and result.

Your profile

We are looking for a manager with a passion for leadership, someone who can create opportunities for coworkers to develop their skills, perform well and stay healthy.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have very strong collaboration-, leadership- and change management skills. You must have the ability to challenge status quo and seek out new perspectives. You are familiar in or have a strong desire to take the role as leader of leaders and your personality is characterized by a coaching attitude and a prestige less willingness to succeed at all times.

You have at least Master degree in Engineering or equivalent education and experience as well as in-depth knowledge of hardware development. To do well in this role you need excellent Swedish and English skills, both verbally and in writing.

What you will be a part of

You will be a part of Hardware Engineering team consisting of three managers working closely to support the organization with the right competence at the right time. The position is based in Järfälla, Sweden and travel is required, mainly to local sites in Gothenburg, Luleå and Karlskrona.

You will be a part of Business Area Surveillance and its Business Unit Combat Systems and C4I Solutions (C2S) within its department Competence and Teams at Operations Sweden.
