About the unit
Test development in Kista is a part of Product Development Unit Radio, and we have global responsibility for radio production test development. Here in Kista, the focus is the early integration phase, but we have a responsibility throughout our products' life cycles. If you have the right background and competence we can offer you a challenging job and an exciting future within Ericsson working with the absolute latest technologies in the 5G industry.
You will
The positions are all focused on test and process development for our latest radio products. You can specialize in any of the different areas, but they all have the same common goal and that is to put our products on the market quickly and efficiently.
As a verification engineer, your focus is to specify measurement methodology as well as verifying the test development results. You also work with product design to help develop a product that is producible within the set margins of performance, quality and price.
We are part of a global community, and we cooperate with other units within Ericsson in an effort to use best practice and ensure reusability of our solutions as much as possible.
To be successful in the role you must have
A university degree in engineering and/or several years of experience as an engineer (or in a similar line of work) as you need an analytical approach to large and complex systems and platforms.
A very good knowledge of Radio RF design, DC/DC design, PA design, PCB design and antenna design; you also need to have knowledge or experience from RF-Instruments.
Good ability to read and speak both conversational and technical English; also, understanding and accepting cultural differences is important since you will be working with engineers from different parts of the world.
As our responsibility is global, there are great opportunities for travel, both within Sweden and abroad.
