​THE POSITION
• To design the cranes (and other products if needed) hydraulic system, in modules that can be reused between different crane types.
• Work closely with the Engineering team, Production, Sourcing, R&D, Sub-suppliers etc.
• Ensure that the hydraulic system meets stipulated safety requirements set either by selected standards or by the classification societies.
• To be a contact person for suppliers of hydraulic equipment as well as with subcontractors, an in co-operation with purchasing find cost effective solutions that fulfils stipulated requirements.
• Certify that each module, as well as the complete system, is validated with an FAT and SAT.
• To fulfil external and internal customer needs for hydraulic system functionality.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• M.Sc or B.Sc. in Engineering with specialization in Hydraulics or simular experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant business / product experience
• Knowledge in hydraulic components and hydraulic system design.
• Flexible and problem solving with analytical qualities.
• Software skill in CAD systems.
• Cooperation and communication skills.
• Good spoken and written skills in English.
