Kalmar's Mobile Solutions division is looking for nothing less than the most talented Hydraulic Engineer.
As a Hydraulic Engineer you will be handling the development for Hydraulic regarding products within the Business Counterbalanced Container Handling (CCH) in Mobile Equipment division (ME) based on customer needs, legislation and internal requirements and according to business strategies.
The position is based in Ljungby (Hybrid) and you will be reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Develop system and if needed components together with suppliers.
• To lead assigned work with partners, consultants and suppliers.
• Secure that components and systems meet specified technical customer demands product safety, legislations requirements and internal demands for products.
• In consultation with PSE coordinate components and systems design between products.
• Responsibility for regularly reporting to responsible R&D Manager and PSE regarding outcome and possible deviations.
• In consultation with responsible R&D Manager and PSE perform customer and supplier visits.
• Be part of testing of new hydraulic systems and components.
What you’ll need to succeed:
Education
• Education level needs to be university degree corresponding to area of responsibility or similar knowledge through experience.
Experience
• Sound technical knowledge regarding ME product types or similar rubber tire vehicles.
• Experience of product development activities is needed.
• Experiences from similar tasks are qualifying.
• Experiences regarding other Kalmar products are qualifying.
• Experience in practical hydraulic knowledge is qualifying.
• Knowledge of Catia V5 or similar program is qualifying.
Competencies
• Fluency in Swedish and English both verbal and written.
• Business- and market mindset.
• Focus on customer needs.
• Good communication skills are important.
• Good knowledge in engineering tools for design, used by Kalmar.
• Analytical and structural ability.
• Driving force and be result oriented.
• Problem solver.
• Positive attitude.
