Your mission
As a Hydraulic Engineer at Epiroc you support our Product Managers with a variety of Engineering tasks. Your main tasks within this role will be to work cross functional within our parts and services division to intensify the work on Parts Proprietary area and improving our spare parts business. We also need to intensify the work on COGS together with our sourcing department making sure that we buy the parts with best quality from best the best supplier. You will also drive the work from a technical perspective around dual sourcing to make sure we improve our situation in this area. As the assortment of Spare Parts is big you will work on creating an understanding on how we can reach a better situation of reusing and compiling goods in areas where we can improve our situation together with other divisions. You will also take part in the daily Engineering work within parts and services division and needs to support other departments with technical knowledge where needed.
Your profile
You have some years of relevant experience from product development and good skills in project leadership and people management. You have a university degree in hydraulic engineering. You have solid verbal and written communications skills in both English and Swedish and can cooperate with both colleagues and sub suppliers in a professional manner to build and maintain good contacts to benefit future relations.
We value experience and technical knowledge in our different products and applications as well as experience of working with a wide variety of Epiroc systems.
Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden.
