Tasks and responsibilities
As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing hydraulic systems for Kalmar Solutions' products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the hydraulic solutions meet performance, quality, and cost requirements. Your work will play a crucial role in enhancing product efficiency and reliability.
Design and develop hydraulic systems for heavy machinery
Conduct testing and validation of hydraulic components and systems
Improve existing hydraulic solutions to enhance performance and efficiency
Collaborate with design engineers, suppliers, and project managers to ensure quality and functionality
Troubleshoot and resolve hydraulic-related issues in current and new designs
Education, experience and personal characteristics
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience in hydraulic system design and development, preferably in heavy machinery or industrial applications
Knowledge of hydraulic components, circuits, and control systems
Familiarity with testing and validation processes for hydraulic systems
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
You are a detail-oriented and proactive engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment. Your problem-solving skills, flexibility, and technical expertise make you a valuable contributor to Kalmar Solutions' innovative projects.
