Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Research & Innovation manage partnerships with society and academia for education, research and innovation. We support the global transformation of Scania with offices in Södertälje and Beijing. We have three main offers based on public private partnerships.
• Competence supply for the shift
• Applied research to remove barriers in emerging areas
• Discover new needs and technical possibilities to grow the business
Hydrogen is a fast emerging area that we need to learn more about. We are interested to understand if and how hydrogen can help our journey towards a sustainable transport system.
Examples of questions that we want you to address
• How will the production of green hydrogen develop?
• What are the regional drivers of hydrogen? The global drivers?
• How will this be incentivized by authorities?
• What role will hydrogen play in the electric energy grid and will there be hydrogen surplus for transport?
• When and where will filling stations be built?
• What type of storage will be the future standard?
• How will the interface between vehicle and filling stations look like?
• What business opportunities could arise for Scania?
All of these questions needs to be studied from a system perspective, in partnerships with authorities and other stakeholders of the hydrogen value chain. You will be part of international consortia with producers, distributors and consumers of green H2. Experience from the energy sector is valuable. You do also need to build new relations with other stakeholder to gain multiple views on hydrogen.
You need to have that capability to analyze complex systems and understand the business perspective of different stakeholders. You need to be good at building new relations and skilled in presenting your findings.
