Hydrolog med inriktning på kraftmarknaden

SUMMARY
We are looking for a candidate to work in our Hydro Department in Lund for almost two years (parental leave). The candidate needs to have a strong record in hydrological modeling as well as being very strong in programming (Matlab, Python and VBA). Experience from Brazil Power market is a big merit.


MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
• Take part in the daily production of hydrological results
• Perform hydrological analysis
• Contribute to build and maintain hydrological models world wide
• Search and find relevant hydrological and meteorological data needed for our models
• Be a resource in all applicable projects
• Customer contact and attention


QUALIFICATIONS
• Higher education in statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering or hydrology
• Strong academic records
• Good command of English (Good command of Portuguese and Japanese is a merit.)
• Strong experience with programming (ex. MatLab, Python, Visual Basic)
• Deep knowledge of hydrological modeling tools (ex. HBV)
• Experience of Brazil hydrology and Power Market is a very strong merit
