Human Capital, a leading search & recruitment agency in banking & financial markets in Sweden, is now on behalf of a prominent Investment Bank looking for a TMT specialist to the Mergers & Acquisitions team in Stockholm or Internationally and reports to the Global Head of TMT.

Your challange:

The candidate will receive a very well rounded perspective of the development of a TMT franchise in this position, and will be joining a well recognised team in a hard working but friendly atmosphere
Origination and execution of corporate finance transactions across the Internet & Media space, and in particular mergers and acquisitions and equity offerings
The candidate will be covering multiple subsectors and geographies, and will be involved in corporate finance execution, and in particular mergers and acquisitions and equity offerings, as well as origination of new deals
Lead marketing efforts and transaction processes including coordination and supervision of junior bankers, clients and external advisors
Execute sell-side processes including preparation of information memorandum, coordination of data room and management presentation, communication and negotiation with potential buyers
Execute buy-side processes including coordination of due diligence teams, preparation of financial analysis, negotiation of SPA and purchase price



Your profile:


The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of TMT advisory experience at an investment bank, a relevant sector focused boutique or perhaps consulting or a corporate role. This could primarily focused on media, Internet or technology. Knowledge of digital media would be an advantage
Languages, and in particular the ability to make business presentations and produce written materials other than in Swedish and English, are also welcome (although not a prerequisite). Working knowledge of Danish, Norwegian, or would be an advantage
Strong technical, advisory and consultancy skills as well as extensive experience in the applicable sector
Commercial ability to build strong client relationships and originate new business is necessary
Prepare business plans, assess corporate valuations and perform merger impact analysis
Needs to work well in both team and individual settings and coordinate work with other global teams
