We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic IB Diploma Programme Coordinator to lead our successful programme, that was introduced in our school in 2013, into its next five-year cycle.

You will be confident and capable of communicating clearly in order to share your knowledge and skills with colleagues, students and parents, so that they have a clear understanding of the IB Diploma and how it benefits students. You will work closely with the IB Base Year Coordinator to ensure that our students make a smooth transition into the IBDP. You should be committed to the ideals shared by IEGS and the IB, excited by inquiry-based and student-centred education, adaptable, open-minded, calm under pressure, and eager to seize the challenges and opportunities of living in Stockholm, the most populous capital city of the Nordic countries. The ability and desire to establish positive working relationships with colleagues, students and parents.




You will lead the orientation of new teachers into the IBDP through a series of Induction workshops as well as promoting and conducting ongoing professional development of departments in relation to the IBDP.  Teaching and mentoring will also be included in the position.
