Do you want to be part of the journey to modernize and digitalize the asset management environment used to keep track on 500K equipment in Ericsson R&D labs globally? We are looking for a ICT Architect that could be you!

We are a Global HW Management unit serving the Ericsson R&D community. Our services provided includes the section of investment and procurement, handle and administrate the hardware during its life cycle, measurement of the hardware utilization and Configuration Data Management.
The hardware is standard IT equipment, proprietary Ericsson hardware, and specialized tools required to test and develop high quality products such as 5G. It is a dynamic environment with constant hardware reconfigurations. In the unit we are responsible for both day-to-day operation as well as service/process/tools improvements in the HW management area.
We are now looking for an ICT Architect (Business analyst) to strengthen the area of owning and driving processes and tools in the Configuration management area. The tasks include to understand how involved parties work including tool landscape and their needs, and translate this into improvements in our processes and tools.


Responsibilities:
You will translate business needs to become clear requirements for the team. Integration of data from different data bases is key.
You will drive development of system architecture and tools including deployment within our own unit and with partners such as R&D.
You will perform daily operations to be able to understand the needs in the processes.
You will identify, develop and drive improvements to achieve efficiency gains.
You will secure good quality of the information in the tools to provide business intelligence.


Key Qualifications:

University degree in system engineering, computer science or equivalent experience
Experience of using BMC Discovery and BMC Atrium CMDB tools is helpful
Have experience and/or interest in driving technical matters
Be highly technical, passionate about creating something new, sharing your ideas and using your own and other´s experiences in order to succeed
Technical/logical thinking with good IT system knowledge
Forward-thinking, see possibilities instead of problems
Working with a comprehensive (overall) view but can also work with details
Fluent in English, verbal and written
