What you will do
Creates principles, models, and guidelines from strategies.
Support Ericsson Research Blackbox operations as well as work with key stakeholders and the team in HQ, Sweden to propose solutions of new distributed and multisite Ericsson Research cloud infrastructure designs.
Take ownership or key areas like security scanning and implementation of research IP infrastructure.
Drive independently solution design, proposal, and implementation with Sweden team on advanced solutions like CEPH, DELL Open Manage, Ansible, RHEL 7 – Red Had Enterprise Linux.
Work directly with research stakeholders and provide technical solutions that enhance the research labs operational stability
This role demands positive mind-set, hands on delivery experience, understanding end – to – end customer requirements, risk taking appetite.
Identify growth opportunities from maturing solutions – drive innovation and monetize existing footprints through new solution / offering design for such customer / accounts
Provide support to other teams in GDS (Global Demo Solutions) Competence Hub Sweden as a specialist in the IP / Security solutions portfolio.
You will bring
Excellent knowledge: L2/L3 Protocols/Technologies – VLAN, Switching Protocols/Routing Protocols /L2VPN/L3VPN
Knowledge of overlay VxLAN and GRE
Excellent knowledge of Routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, ISIS, QOS, VOIP
Experience in implementation / rollout of services in – Metro Ethernet, SDN/NFV, IP/MPLS
Hands-on in one or more SDN / NFV stacks / protocols like – ODL, OpenStack, ONOS, Blue Planet, Open net, Netconf, Yang, Tail-f, Open Flow, Contrail
Hands-on in Python, JSON, REST -
Excellent knowledge of Routing & Switching product: Cisco, Juniper, Pluribus.
Excellent knowledge of Virtualization and Orchestrator.
Hands-on experience in implementation of Ericsson SDI
Experience with different NAS solutions, CEPH, Ansible, RHEL etc.
Collaborate with cross functional teams spread across geographies
Comfortable with working with virtual teams and workplaces.
Key Qualifications
Education: Graduate in Computer Science or similar
Minimum experience: Min 5 years of relevant work experience.
Previous work experience on Labs or with Research will be of high value.
Understanding of Ericsson Portfolio and positioning.
Worked with Agile and SAFe teams
