Position Summary:
Do you want to be part of the journey to modernize and digitalize the asset management environment used to keep track of 500K equipment in Ericsson R&D labs globally?
We are a Global Asset Management unit serving the Ericsson R&D community. Our services provided includes the area of investment and procurement, manage and administrate the hardware during its life cycle and measurement of the hardware utilization.
The hardware is standard IT equipment, proprietary Ericsson hardware, and specialized tools required to test and develop high-quality products such as 5G. It is a dynamic environment with constant hardware reconfigurations. In the Global Asset management unit, we are responsible for both day-to-day operations as well as service/process/tools improvements in the asset management area.
We are now looking for an ICT Architect (Business analyst) to strengthen the area of owning and driving processes and tools in the hardware utilization area. Your work is to understand how involved parties work including tool landscape and their needs and translate this into improvements in our processes and tools. One important interface is towards the tool’s development organization in Hungary.
Responsibilities:
You will translate business requirements to become clear input to the tool’s development team
You will drive the development of processes, tools and the complete Utilization solution including test and deployment of new functionality within our own unit and with stakeholders including R&D.
You will perform daily operations to be able to analyze the utilization process. You will identify, develop and drive improvements to achieve efficiency gains.
You will secure the good quality of the information in the tools to provide business intelligence.
Key qualifications:
University degree in system engineering, computer science or equivalent experience
Have experience in driving technical matters (requirement handling)
Be highly technical, enthusiastic about creating something new, sharing your ideas and using your own and other´s experiences in order to succeed
Technical/logical thinking with good IT system knowledge
Open-minded, see possibilities instead of problems
Working with a comprehensive (overall) view but can also work with details
Fluent in English, verbal and written
