Floatel International is an International Group established in 2006 located in Gothenburg, Sweden with head office in Oslo, Norway. Floatel operate a modern fleet of accommodation and construction support vessels (floatels) for the oil and gas industry all over the world. The fleet is designed to meet the increased demands set by new challenging projects in deep water and hostile environments. Our ICT Department has a valuable position at Floatel International to meet with business needs in our onshore and offshore operations. The team has a high level of commitment in their daily work providing accurate and qualitative IT support based on high work capacity and a great deal of responsibility. In general, the team collaborates with a service-minded, flexible and forward-leaning approach.

Key responsibilities
Support ICT operation including daily operation and projects
Support and coordinate suppliers and internal resources
Propose adaptions and efficiency enhancement in the ICT area
Establish and keep contact with the vessels’ Chief Electricians and other applicable crew members
Conduct ship visits to check the vessels’ ICT standards
Participate in system implementation projects when required
Develop and implement information security system in alignment with HSEQ Department
Manage reporting and take action to solve security daily issues
This position is a part of the ICT-department


Key qualifications and experience
Formal IT education or similar working experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from daily IT operation
Preferable experience from the marine or offshore industry
Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal


Others
Travelling will be necessary for this position, including offshore travelling as instructed.
