ESS is now looking for an IAM Operations Engineer for the Information Technology division organised within the Project Support and Administration Directorate. The main responsibilities of the IT division is to maintain, improve, advise and lead the work on the IT platform to meet the need of the project both today and tomorrow. Mission of the team is to provide a stable and accessible IT platform, with the key drivers of being open, excellent and collaborative. The goal of operation is to make everyone able to get the tools they need and to provide high quality service and support.
Job description
ESS is approaching early operations and is facing a shift in how we process and allow access. In this position you will continue to build on the IAM foundation that has been put in place during 2020. The platform relies on the Ping and One Identity suites to govern both our physical and logical access. The next step involves operationalizing and expanding the reach to all of our applications.
This role is split between IAM and other applications that support our infrastructure and you will manage and support others as well. The role itself if technical and hands on, you are expected to carry out typical operational/development tasks
Your main areas of responsibilities as an IAM Operations Engineer will be to:
• Maintain and service our IAM system, including One Identity and Ping platform
• Meet and guide fellow system owners/providers in Access management, Identity control and other related topics
• Align with the organizations’ procedures to ensure compliance, adequate tool support and reporting
• Collaborate on topics like security, architecture, deployment solutions within IT
• Support other systems depending on your profile
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
- IAM expertise is a great advantage: processes, issues, approaches, how IAM tooling functions
- Experience of working and influencing cross-functionally, involving stakeholders and also rolling out change.
- Solid IT skillset, in-depth technical competency for managing applications and related infrastructure.
- Experience & knowledge about compliance work, especially from an operational standpoint during onboarding of new systems.
Experience of working in an international environment is essential. Excellent oral and written English skills are a prerequisite.

Duration & Location
The position is permanent with six months initial probationary period. Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.
Start date
The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
