Folkuniversitetet Region West is recruiting IELTS speaking examiners for this region. Apply by March 15.
This presents an exciting opportunity for ESOL professionals to work in the world’s biggest and most dynamic English language assessment environment. We are looking for experienced ESOL professionals interested in training to become examiners for speaking tests. Applicants should commit to working regularly in Gothenburg. The IELTS exam is held once a month and the work is paid on an hourly basis. Most examining takes place on Saturdays.
Tentative start date would be May/June 2020.
Your profile:
- You have an undergraduate degree or a qualification which can be demonstrated to be equivalent to an undergraduate degree.
- You have a recognised qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or English as a Foreign Language (ESL) / English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)-related studies completed as part of an undergraduate / post graduate award course from a recognised institution.
- You have at least 3 years’ full time (or the equivalent part time) relevant TESOL teaching experience (minimum one year post-certificate level qualification). The majority of this teaching experience must relate to adult students (16 years and over).
- You have the relevant professional attributes and interpersonal skills.
