Internationella Engelska Skolan is a truly international school. We have staff and
students from all over the world contributing to a dynamic international atmosphere. Our
schools are bilingual with up to 50% of teaching in English and follow the Swedish
national curriculum.
IES Östersund benefits from having a school site and buildings which were completely refurbished during 2020. The school is located in beautiful Östersund - a town in northern Sweden which is perfectly positioned so that its residents can enjoy the local forests, lakes and mountains. It is a 50 minute drive from Åre which is globally renowned for excellent skiing, mountain biking, paragliding and hiking. Östersund itself has fantastic sports facilities, a range of cultural amenities and shops and retail parks. The town is served by its own airport on the island of Frösön for both domestic and international flights. If you are looking for an authentic, Swedish experience - the chance to live close to nature, experience the best of long, light summer days and dark, snowy, Northern Light filled winters, whilst still enjoying the perks of city living - then Östersund is for you!

Furthermore, we are looking for teachers who are energetic, flexible and proactive.
