Main responsibilities

In this position you will work together with our IFS application owner to maintain, upgrade, develop, modify our IFS installation, as well as help implement surrounding IT applications to support HydraSpecma’s business requirements. The role requires you to help with problem solving as well as coordinating with internal users, stakeholders, and system providers. Part of this position you will also support existing flows created using Novacura Flow, assist technically when creating new workflows.

On top of that you will administrate IFS user set up and licenses, be responsible for the technical set up of roles in IFS, as well as assigning relevant roles to users based on input from business managers. When relevant, e.g., due to IFS client limitations, assist HydraSpecma business managers with modification and retrieval of data in the system, including the development of tools for end users to achieve this.

Looking in our IFS roadmap we have new implementations of IFS, where we plan to replace an exiting system with IFS, but also a strategy to keep our IFS environment up to date, and we have a strong focus on what the future brings, so IFS Cloud is also something we have in mind.

We are located in a brand-new production facility in Bårhult/Landvetter just outside Gothenburg. Preferable you live in Gothenburg or in Borås area, but you can also live somewhere else in Sweden, and have any of our other sites as a base. The position reports to our IFS Application Owner.



Who we are looking for

We see your profile as a software engineer with a strong knowledge of IFS code base, but also a person who can participate in dialogue with the business about their needs and analyse what will be the best solution.



Need to have:

- Good technical application knowledge, especially of IFS

- Working experience with IFS manufacturing and other related

- PL/SQL and SQL skills

- Experience from data migration

- Interest and understanding of business requirements on IT applications

- Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good communication and coordination skills

- Fluent in Swedish and English



Nice to have:

- Experience with Novacura Flow

- Experience from migrating to IFS from other systems
