KEY TASKS
IFS Research & Development (R&D) are looking to recruit a Business Analyst that will play an important role in developing new and improved solutions for IFS Enterprise Service Management.
As a Business Analyst, You will:
• Analyze business requirements to translate them into new features and solutions
• Investigate and present proposals for enhancements of existing solutions
• Design and present solutions via functional specifications based on high level business requirements
• Actively work with the development lifecycle phases of IFS Applications from product design, development, and quality assurance to support
• Do presentations and trainings of our solutions and related product areas
• Stay updated and analyze market trends, relevant for the product area and industries where your area of expertise applies
• Work in cross-functional, global development teams
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You have the creativity, analytical skills and problem-solving interest to design business software solutions, and enjoy working in development teams on project basis.
You have knowledge and at least a couple of years’ experience in a service or aftermarket organizations and have an understanding of a service operation and its challenges and needs. You are familiar how business applications can support different parts of the Service management process, from call logging, planning to execution. Service lifecycle management is a known concept and how it can empower organizations. You have knowledge and some experience in how a service organization can benefit from modern technology and mobility in areas like execution and resource optimization.
You may have experience being a qualified user of a business software system in some service operation, where you have gathered thoughts and ideas on how they would work the best. You may also have worked actively with business processes in a software system context or doing design and development in a business application software.
You have an MBA, Engineering or IT University degree, or equivalent qualifications.
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
