ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an IKEA Explore - Innovator within the NB&I Shared Solutions team.The IKEA Explore - Innovator is a future oriented and impactful position focusing on exploring and identifying disruptive and innovative business opportunities that ultimately create a better everyday life for the many people.The Innovator leads exploration and innovation projects, challenges the existing way of working and maintains relationships and networks with external partners such as universities, NGO´s and designers but also within IKEA to influence the future and current set up and processes.The IKEA Explore - Innovator is responsible for leading and delivering new business potentials and opportunities through exploration,concept ideation and concept evaluation phases to enable IKEA to act upon.The position reports to the IKEA Explore - Innovation Leader.

The IKEA Explore - Innovator is responsible for:
-Realize assigned Exploration and Creative Innovation projects by applying DNS (Develop New Solutions) processes and tools
-Challenge the existing by introducing new ways to solve future challenges in people?s life at home.
-Lead and connect informal teams to successfully deliver challenges
-Maintain and partner with relevant internal and external stakeholders, experts and business leaders

PROFILE
To be able to deliver in this role you should have:
-Proven ability of delivering and leading creative processes: lead thematic exploration, grow knowledge and build effective and capable multidisciplinary project teams
-The capability to analyse, combine and interpret ideas, trends and developments: market, industry, technology, foresights, politics, economy, biology, culture etc. and define innovation themes and roadmaps based on these
-Business and product development knowledge
-Strong networking and influencing skills
-Great insights and passion for people?s life at home, customer needs, design, style and trends
-A very curious and exploratory mind
-A strong drive to deliver and contribute towards goals and targets.Vision creation, project team leadership, enabling and coaching people
-Able to formulate ideas and concepts
-The capacity to steer and work in a developing and changing environment
