ILS Manager - Training

ILS Manager - Training, Airborne ISR. We are now looking for a communicative project manager, who enjoys driving bid operations in an International and business-oriented environment with the understanding of complex projects and focus in keeping the numbers!



Your role



As an ILS Manager be a part of the bid campaign. You are responsible for start-up meetings, coordination of involved organizations, risk assessments and deliveries within Airborne Surveillance Business cases. Your focus will be on defining and calculating delivery of training as part of our business, but will also include calculations of technical publications, ground support equipment, spares, etc included in the ILS scope.



You will work in close collaboration with Product Management for training developing our training products. Other important interfaces will be our bid organization and customer facing maintenance organization as well as ILS subject matter experts, training specialists and the Business Unit management. The tasks will vary in both complexity and scope and we will together set your individual development plan according to your earlier experiences and interests.



Your profile



We are looking for a well driven project manager with the ability to see the big picture and at the same time understand details. You are a good communicator who creates trust and commitment among those you meet in your everyday work. You need to be well organized and able to lead your own, and colleagues work in a bid project. Preferably, you have worked with bid operation in projects and you have experience in working with complex calculations. We also see that you have experience within the training area, such as training manager, instructor or development of training concepts. It is an advantage if you have experience with rules and regulations for aviation. It is an advantage if you have experience from the ILS-area, such as understanding of ILS requirements, support solutions and complex maintenance projects.



You are striving to identify possibilities, challenges and ways to be more efficient and you act on them. Excellent communicative ability in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing, is expected.

Support and Services, a Business area within Saab, delivers services and integrated support solutions for cost effective support of systems and platforms during the complete life cycle.



Airborne ISR, one of the Business Units within Support and Services, is now in an intensive phase with several ongoing delivery projects and marketing activities for future business. We deliver Airborne Surveillance Aircraft with a life cycle perspective. In the ILS department, we gather competences in the ILS area for coordination within development, delivery projects and the winning business process. Our business aims to establish and support the customer capability to operate and maintain systems like GlobalEye.
