Image Supply Coordinator to ContextVision

Job description
Do you have a life science degree with practical experience in histological techniques? Do you have a genuine interest in the digital field and want to put your knowledge to use outside of the lab? We are now, on behalf of our client ContextVision AB, looking for an Image Supply Coordinator to join their team in bringing their next products to the market! The role is preferably based in Stockholm, but Linköping is also acceptable.

Responsibilities
In this role your main tasks are to handle and coordinate the histological image supply process and to structure and manage the image database. The role includes coordinating input from consulting pathologists and requesting the necessary data within set deadlines. You will keep track of the incoming data, perform visual quality control and validate the data before putting it into the database. The role also includes image processing, conversion of images and nomenclature management.

Qualifications
·         Degree in relevant scientific field e.g. BMA, Biomedicine, Biotechnology
·         Knowledge of principles of histochemistry of biological material
·         Experience in microscopy and whole slide imaging (WSI)
·         Experience in LIMS or electronic medical records
·         Clinical or industrial lab experience is a merit as is handling clinical digital images
·         Good knowledge or a genuine interest in computer science is an advantage


Since the tasks are mainly administrative, we see that you enjoy working in an office environment and in a project management role. You need to be responsive and communicative and keep track of set deadlines towards the pathologists. To enjoy the tasks you need to be organized and structured and have an interest in digital imaging. You will also be handling large amounts of scientific data so it is essential that you have a good sense for details. Together with the rest of the motivated and dedicated team you will create new possibilities for AI driven cancer detection and future innovative products!
