About the role:
As a Global Mobility Immigration Partner you will be a part of the highly engaged Global Mobility EMEA-team within People Experience (HR), located at Volvo Cars headquarters in Gothenburg.
The Global Mobility- team assists the organization with relocation support for international local hires, as well as assures that work- and residence permits are secured for non-EU nationals. In addition, the Global Mobility team manages the international assignment population. You will work in close collaboration with other Global Mobility team members, as well as other internal stakeholders, to provide advice and support to the organization mainly in relation to immigration.
What you’ll do:
In this role, you will Actively support and advice the organization regarding, primarily, Swedish work- and residence permit related matters and will Manage the initiations of work-and residence permits and prolongations in Sweden. As the first point of contact for Swedish immigration matters for employees, you will engage daily with our stakeholders (such as employees, managers, people experience and vendors) and support the Global Mobility team with general immigration advice from time to time, and other international relocation related matters when needed. You will plan and align the internal immigration processes to assure that cases are managed in a timely manner and will support continuous improvements and quality assurance internally and with our vendors.
Your skills:
We believe you have experience from working with Swedish work- and residence permits, either with the Swedish Migration Board, relocation companies or similar. You have good knowledge about the laws and regulations governing the Swedish work-and residence permit process. You should also have experience in balancing company regulations and understanding for the employee’s individual needs. Basic knowledge of other countries’ immigration rules is considered a merit. Strong written and oral communication skills in both Swedish and English is a requirement for this position.
