Presales & Sales Implementation at Scania Sales & Marketing is a department with the mission to implement and secure that everything we develop within pre-sales and sales are used in the intended way, reaching out all the way to our global end users. Today our group consists of fourteen people and we are now looking for a new colleague to be part of the team with focus on our sales tool Sales Portal.
Work description
In the role as Implementation Manager, you will lead assignments to implement Sales Portal and its integrated tools across the Scania world. That includes to set up the system according to local market needs, while being the link back to our central IT department that is a natural part of the assignments. You will coach and support the way-of-working during rollouts as well as introducing new and improved tools and functionalities. Over time you will coach the markets to use the system according to our sales process, utilizing the powerful tools to configure and optimize offerings that ends up on customer proposals.
The daily tasks vary and besides implementing and bringing out the usage and functionality of Sales Portal, you will be a key player bringing local needs back into our central organisations as input to further development and improvements. Since Sales Portal sits in the middle of our sales process, you will also work towards functions responsible for CRM and order systems as well as our pre-sales tools providing data to be used when specifying and optimizing solutions.
You will coordinate your implementation assignments with central Pre-Sales & Sales support functions, systems development and market introduction projects. We work in an agile environment, very much focusing on the needs set by the exciting e-mobility journey we are on, and the possibilites a data driven approach to development and improvement gives.
All in all you will both need to have the overall view and understanding of our sales functions as well as be the expert on the details.
This position provides great opportunity to get in contact with many different parts of the Scania organisation. As the users are positioned all over the world, you will have frequent international contacts and the possibility to travel.
Profile
Analytical skills, a structured approach and the understanding of how the small details affect the bigger picture are required. You have good communication skills and like to work cross functional.
You are persuasive and finds it easy to argue your case and win the respect of others. You work well under pressure and deals with stress in a constructive way, maintaining good humour despite pressure and setbacks. As a person you are a curious “doer” and problem solving comes natural to you.
An academic degree in business, engineering or equivalent is required as well as being fluent in English. A second or third language is a merit. Minimum three years of experience from the commercial automotive industry is a must while technical knowledge in Scania products and services is definitely an advantage.
