Importer Business Manager

Volvo Penta Importer Business is responsible for the complete range of Volvo Penta products through its Private Importers in Europe, Middle East, Africa, South Asia and CIS countries.


You will be working with some of the most interesting countries, inspiring cultures and individuals in the world!


You will be part of the Importer Business team and report to the Director for Importer Aftermarket Business. The position is based in Gothenburg and involves frequent travelling where your main focus will be to deliver extraordinary customer satisfaction generating great aftermarket sales results.


This by initiate and perform activities to maintain and grow aftermarket sales and market shares within the Importers territory. The job include sales to both the Industrial and Marine Segments which includes negotiating, contract writing, price setting and managing price files for the assigned importers.


This role includes Parts Sales responsibility for our Private Importers in an agreed area but will also play a key role in the communication between the Importer Aftermarket team and the Marine Segment. It also includes responsibility to report sales performance, KPI's fulfilment and securing the importer fulfills the Importer Operating Standards. The role requires excellent sales skills but also a technical understanding though it will require close collaboration with the Area Service Manager and the importers technical teams.


Required Qualifications

To be successful in your new role we want you have the following knowledge/experience:
University degree or similar in engineering or other relevant field
A successful track record in sales or account management
Passion, knowledge and interest in engines and aftermarket is an advantage
Great communication skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written
